Nakoma… home of the famous Frank Lloyd Wright designed Nakoma Restaurant, Clubhouse and Dragon Golf Course (“Bring Me Your Heroes”…)

The Nakoma (previously known as Gold Mountain) community sits on approximately 1280 acres, with 400 homesites.  Flanked by the wild and scenic Feather River and among the Plumas National Forest, many sites enjoy spectacular views and vistas.  Private roads, underground utilities and private entry gates allow access to the project.  Many custom built homes are established upon the required guidelines of the Taliesin* design team…. very much a Frank Lloyd Wright community.

The community is served by the Nakoma Community Services District, which provides water, sewer and fire protection.  The Nakoma Homeowners Association is established to maintain the private roads, the common/open space and the entry gates.
